Not much the roof was falling in and leaking ;( and the lift didn't work thay put us in anther room and it was moldy never agen
It was really bab ;(
The hotel lack local charm and friendliness. It has clean room, 5 min walk to the beach and that's all. For the price USD90 per night, I would have expect more as it is not cheap for Indonesian standard.
centrally located..close to shopping, markets and entertainment for over 50's ..... and of course great restaurants e.g Lemongrass, Moo Moos Pavone and many others. Friendly staff treat u like family remembering all about u from year to year. Rooms spotless .. sheets crisp and white and a bargain at the cost. Will be going again in February 2013
music arounhd pool area bar too loud .... needs turning down a little
It's a lively hotel, plays top 40 music by the pool all day. It's near the beach although it is still a 5 min walk. Rooms are large, bed is huge but it's 2 super singles joint into 1 so u get a groove in between. Air cond is very powerful.
It's looking quite tired. Needs a new coat of paint, new towels , new curtains... Everything has a little stains so u never feel quite comfortable. Bed is huge, but it's 2 beds joint together , pillows are old and lumpy. No wifi in room. The hotel lobby and cafe where u have breakfast is just 10 meters from the busy street, so it's never relaxing and the air is poor. Its a good place for a few blokes to have fun, but if u want a beach side retreat, this is clearly not for you. But that being said, price is cheap, and what you get probably justifies it.
Small and comfortable hotel in a busy area with quiet rooms. The breakfast is good but everyday the same. Good value for the price and friendly staff.
We get what we expected in all aspects!
The staff were very friendly and helpful at all times and responded to any requests promptly and always with a smile. The Lokha is close to shopping, the beach and lots of restaurants
Although there was internet access in the lobby, I could only receive emails and not send them. It would be more convenient to have internet access in our rooms as well.
The hotel was unfortunately under construction during our trip on 11/6. As such, the construction was loud and the lift was inoperable. We would definitely check it out when there was no construction. However, it was not as relaxing as we would have wanted at the time. We were not notified at the time of booking that construction was taking place and wished this was noted at Booked.net. The location was in close proximity to restaurants, shops, bars and the beach. Easy to get places. The setting was pretty. The rooms were large and nicely decorated. Comfy bed! Wonderful pool and pool bar. Just a bit noisy. The spa was not really a full service spa and the actual massage was only fair. The hotel staff in general was top notch and very responsive to all requests. Overall, this is a lovely active hotel in a nice location.
The spa was not a full service spa. It was loud and not private. The service was only fair.
Comfortable,affordable and well located.
Staff service was non existent!!!! Room was not available on arrival, even when they knew the exact time we were arriving.
The location was excellent .Staff very friendly. Hotel was well maintained with a lovely pool,I liked that is was a smaller traditional hotel.
The Lokha Legian Resort and Spa was in a fantastic location - approx 3 shops away from Jimmys DVD and very close to Coffee Corner, the Commonwealth Bank and excellent restaurants. The hotel was very clean and they are installing a lift soon, which will same time as it was difficult carrying the suitcase to the third floor. The TV, air-conditioner and bed was modern, but the room itself with its green tile floor could perhaps do with a renovation or paint sometime, but this would not prevent us staying here again.
The hotel was a little tired-looking and could perhaps be renovated or simply re-painted sometime. I am born in Melbourne, but there were a lot of young, noisy Aussies over-taking the pool each day for the week that we stayed at The Lokha,
The pillows and mattress was fantastic as I managed to have 9 hours sleep each evening. I also enjoyed the balcony as I like to hand-wash my clothes every day and it was good that you can switch off the air-conditioning in the evenings, if you wish to. The rooms were clean and in the morning I enjoyed the banana pancakes so much that I had 2 serves each morning.
When I booked this room I requested a quiet room, which meant away from the lift or street and my room was on the 3rd level, which is good, but it was facing the street and the congestion of taxis and motorbikes start again from 6am each day.
Rooms are great and the staff was ok. The breakfast is good too.
The pool was not really as good as expected. This hotel clearly is cleary don't have a lot of charm, but is really confortable. Bad point : we wanted to leave the hotel earlier (2 days instead of 3) to continue our trip but the hotel refused to refund us.
Good spot right in the heart of the shopping district.
I stayed 3 nights at The Lokha Legian and found it one of the best places I have stayed around Bali, very clean, affordable, staff very friendly, awesome pool/bar, close to shopping, great selection of breakfast and great restaurant. I would defiantly stay again and highly recommend to friends and family. Alison
The location was great, staff terrific, pool was lovely and seafood bbq night sensational.
